We’ve been making some big changes to our stores recently. In Wetherby, we have moved our interior design department to the ground floor, after spending years ‘upstairs’. In Harrogate, we are currently opening up the first floor interior design space, taking out the glass office and integrating the whole department into the store.

An investment like this obviously causes some disruption and with our shops open six days a week, we have had to cause a little inconvenience to our customers but we hope you’ll agree it’s worth it. So why have we made these changes? As you know, the James Brindley team are dedicated to helping you make your home a beautiful and unique environment that reflects your personality. The extensive range of soft furnishings, accessories and furniture pieces we stock is part of this process. When making these purchases we know that many of our customers value the opinion and expertise of our interior designers and we want to make our talented teams as accessible as possible. Very few stores have the privilege of a fully integrated design and retail service and so we don’t want to hide our designers away – we want to put them right on the shop floor for the benefit of all our customers.
